Jon Secada (birth name Juan Francisco Secada Ramírez) was born in (Havana, Cuba) in 1961 and is a singer and songwriter. His musical style is best described as a blend of Latin pop (a subgenre of pop - commonly associated with Spanish language pop, rock, and dance music – that usually combines upbeat Latin American music with American pop music, but can also include pop music from anywhere in the Spanish speaking world), adult contemporary (popular radio music, ranging from 1960s vocal and 1970s soft rock music to predominantly ballad heavy music of the present day, with varying degrees of easy listening, pop, soul, rhythm and blues, and rock influence), R&B, and dance pop (a fusion of electronic dance music and pop music, with influences of disco music, post-disco, new wave, synthpop, electropop, and house). He’s had a stellar career with 12 studio albums, 5 compilation albums, extended plays, 36 singles, 15 music videos, and he's sold 20 million records worldwide.
